The College at Southeastern is excited to announce, beginning in fall 2024, two new marketplace majors and minors: a Bachelor of Arts in communications, a Bachelor of Arts in political science, and two minors in these fields. These marketplace degrees will uniquely equip students to advance the cause of Christ in a variety of strategic vocations.

With a vision for equipping disciple makers for all walks of life, The College at Southeastern offers degrees for ministry, mission, and the marketplace. At The College, every classroom is a Great Commission classroom, which is why our marketplace degrees are uniquely designed to equip students to live with Great Commission intentionality in every aspect of society.

The new communications and political science programs join the rest of The College’s marketplace offerings, which include the Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in elementary education, Bachelor of Arts in history (pre-law), and the Bachelor of Science degrees with teaching licensure tracks.

Combining occupational skills with biblical and theological training, these three new offerings have been designed to further equip students at The College to be the best in their fields and to make disciples as they serve in their unique callings.

“By offering marketplace degrees like communications and political science, which are mission-centric and culturally recognizable,” commented Dean of The College, Dr. Bible, “The College at Southeastern is able to spiritually and vocationally equip a wider range of young men and women, which in turn broadens our gospel impact.”
