Welcome to Magnolia Kitchen

Previously known as The Court, Magnolia Kitchen is the new and improved eatery located in Ledford Student Center. Under the leadership and culinary expertise of Chef Virginia Spencer, Magnolia Kitchen will serve up new and delicious meals all week long. Visit throughout the day to enjoy a snack or a full meal.



Magnolia Kitchen is open Monday – Friday from 7am-7pm, and on Saturday from 11:30am-6pm.

Meal service hours during the semester are:

Monday – Friday




11:30am-2:30pm (Made-to-Order options available at noon.)











Meal Plans

We have a variety of meal plans available and are confident you will find the perfect fit for you. Your ID card will carry the amount of prepaid swipes associated with your meal plan. Whenever you are hungry, just head over to Magnolia Kitchen, swipe your card, and eat! Each swipe will provide you with one meal at Magnolia Kitchen. See below to find the perfect plan for you.

GO Bucks provide an additional way to personalize your meal plan. GO Bucks are extra dollars that can be added to your ID card and used as cash around campus at places like Magnolia Kitchen and the Library. Click here to load your card.

Unlimited Plan

Need more than one cookie muffin to get through the day? No problem! With the Unlimited Plan, you can eat as often as you’d like! The Unlimited Plan comes with unlimited swipes just for you.


*Price of meal plan is per semester. Swipes are only for the holder of the meal plan and cannot be shared.



Block Plans

Want to make your meal plan all your own? We’ve got you covered. Our Block Plans allow you to choose the number of swipes that work best for you. No more hoarding to-go boxes of salad just to get your money’s worth. You are also welcome to share swipes on this plan. Feeling generous? Treat a friend to lunch!

*Price of meal plan is per semester. Unused swipes do not carry over to the next semester. GO Bucks can be added to any plan and leftover funds will carry over to future semesters.


**Required for single, undergraduate students ages 25 or younger, living in campus housing.



Who is required to have a meal plan?

All single undergraduate students who live in campus housing and are 25 years old or younger are required to purchase the Block 190 Meal Plan.

Can I apply financial aid to my meal plan?

No, financial aid will not be applied to meal plans. However, all meal plans can be added to a NelNet payment plan through Accounting Services.

How long does eahc meal plan last?

All meal plans last through the current semester. The meal plan will begin on the first day of classes and end on the graduation day of each semester.
