Missions and Ministry

We are always looking for more students to get involved with Ministry Teams! As part of our mission to serve the church and fulfill the Great Commission, Southeastern wants to assist local churches as they plan events to reach their communities and grow their congregations. Ministry teams are sent to help with church conferences, DiscipleNow weekends, men's or women's retreats, sports camps, and more. We send out worship teams, speakers, preachers, sports teams, and more. To join a Ministry Team, please complete the application and email it to Chris Allen at or drop it off in the Denominational Relations Office in Stealey 305.

To find out more about ministry teams or to inquire about availability, call Student Development at 1-800-284-6317 or e-mail We look forward to helping you.

The Lewis A. Drummond Center for Great Commission Studies is the heart of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. We are located on the SEBTS campus in Wake Forest, NC in the Jacumin-Simpson Building. This site is made up of contributors who are part of the faculty at SEBTS as well as significant practitioners on and off of our campus. As an institution that emphasizes the Great Commission, we want to regularly promote content that focuses on the missio Dei, evangelism, cross-cultural activity, church planting, and disciple-making to assist our constituents to engage in God’s mission. We are committed to the task of training others and are seeking to equip the equippers with reliable and relevant mission information.

The College at Southeastern encourages all students to be involved in a local church body.
