Description: Scholarships for students in an undergraduate or graduate program leading to a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field that prepares the student to preach the Christian religion and with the intent to serve as a pulpit pastor. The student must be committed to studies and maintain a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or above or a cumulative graduate GPA of 3.0 or above. The student must be a permanent resident of one of the 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle. The student must enroll and pass a minimum of 12 hours each semester at the undergraduate level or 9 hours each semester at the graduate level. Scholarship awards are based upon $1,000 per semester for those students classified as a freshman or sophomore, $2,000 per semester for those students classified as a junior or senior and $3,000 per semester for graduate students to be used for tuition, books and academically related fees
