Institutional Scholarships

Institutional Scholarships

Southeastern’s scholarships are open to prospective students and current students who are making Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).

Southeastern has a variety of scholarships, including need-based scholarships, merit-based scholarships, and scholarships for students pursuing specific degrees or ministry pursuits. Currently, most awards range from $1,000–$1,500 per semester or year.

The Scholarship Committee evaluates applications and makes award determinations based on the eligibility requirements of each individual scholarship.

Institutional scholarships can only be used to cover tuition and academic fees during the semester in which they are awarded. External scholarships are always applied to a student’s account before institutional scholarships.

How to Apply

In order to be eligible for financial aid at Southeastern, all college students are required to complete both the Institutional Financial Aid Application as well as the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®).

Your Standard Financial Aid Application will not be considered complete until we receive your FAFSA®. At the end of the FAFSA®, you will select Southeastern to receive a copy of your FAFSA® and we will be sent this information. You do not need to notify us that you have completed the FAFSA®

Southeastern’s Standard Financial Aid Application is open to any prospective or current student in any degree program during the Application Periods listed below. To be eligible for institutional financial aid, both the student’s FAFSA® and Standard Financial Aid Application must be complete by the following deadlines:
