College Experience: The Journey Begins Here
Chad Burchett | October 23, 2023
Each year, prospective students and their families join The College at Southeastern for an immersive two-day campus visit known as College Experience, featuring campus tours, mock lectures, student-led worship, time with faculty, and much more.
Designed to offer prospective students a firsthand experience of life at The College, College Experience is a fun, focused, and interactive time to make connections, ask questions, and discern where God may be leading students to pursue undergraduate training. This two-day event challenges prospective students to consider their education and vocation through a Great Commission lens, introducing them to The College’s dynamic mission: equipping students to give their lives for the cause of Christ in the Church, among the nations, and in every aspect of society.
The College believes that all of life should be lived for the cause of Christ — whether serving in ministry, missions, or the marketplace. This commitment to serve Christ orients the everyday rhythms of learning and discipleship on campus, the community that shapes students into godly leaders, and the training that prepares them to understand and apply God’s word in all of life. That is why welcoming students to campus is not only about connecting them with current students and faculty but also enabling them to experience the culture of discipleship and mission that characterizes The College.
College Experience also welcomes parents, guardians, and youth leaders to attend with their students, offering them opportunities to ask questions, meet staff and faculty, hear from campus leaders, and experience The College’s culture for themselves.
