BambooHR will award three $5000 scholarships to passionate, creative university students who care about improving people’s lives. This scholarship is open to those accepted to an accredited college/university, or currently enrolled as an undergraduate student. The winning candidates will be selected based on the student’s creativity and thoughtfulness in their personal statements and responses to the submission option of their choice.

Essay contest where recipients will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship

Applicants must write an essay of less than 1,000 words in which you would describe the three characteristics of leadership you value most.  Discuss why you believe that these traits are so important and how you feel they are developed in an individual.

Scholarships up to $20,000 over four years will be awarded to full-time students who have been accepted to an accredited four-year college, university, or equivalent (culinary school, for example). Applicants can be current high school seniors entering college in the fall or students currently attending a college or university.

The scholarship will be paid directly to the institution of higher learning. Everyone who meets the requirements below is invited to apply.

Scholarship recipients will receive notice of their award by June 15 of the school year prior to when the scholarship will commence.

  • Acceptance to an accredited four-year college, university, or equivalent
  • Low income household
  • G.P.A. of 2.5 or higher
  • Involvement in an extra-curricular activity or work
  • Completion of full application including a completed Student Aid Report from the FAFSA or the CSS Profile

Wigs.com is pleased to offer a scholarship exclusively to students that have any form of hair loss and are in need of financial aid for college tuition costs. Types of hair loss include alopecia and trichotillomania, various diseases and illnesses, as well as hair loss caused from medications such as chemotherapy treatments. The Wigs.com Hair Loss Scholarship is for $1000 and will be awarded to a chosen student that is currently enrolled in either an undergraduate or graduate (2 or 4 year) program, or accredited post secondary institution.

The Kalu Yala scholarship was created with the future entrepreneurs and business people in mind. We hope that this scholarship helps someone get a little closer to their dream career. Applicants will be required to write a 500-word essay to be considered for this $1000 scholarship. A committee will select one winner based on their essay some time typically in December.
