Adrianne Miles

Associate Professor of English and Linguistics

Biography

Adrianne Miles has been teaching SEBTS courses in literature, writing, communication, and linguistics since 2010. Broadly, her research interests include language, narrative, and identity. Her current research explores the representation of dialect as a class marker in fictional narratives. She is passionate about helping students recognize the fingerprints of God in all of creation but especially in literature and language. She and her husband, Scott, have been married since 1996 and have two sons—Zac and Jake.
